Blackheath Centre for Singing performs Carmina Burana.
Written for chorus and orchestra, this is one of the most popular and familiar choral works of recent times.
Energetic, melodic and a joy for audience and performers alike, the piece is a musical treat.
In this performance the choir is accompanied by two pianos and percussion.
The choir you will hear in this concert was founded in 2012 by its conductor, Joel Thomas and is based in Greenwich.
The performance will run without interval and is approximately 60 minutes duration.
